Burke's Main Street Pharmacy is seeking a highly-motivated pharmacy technician to join our team!
1 year of current pharmacy technician experience minimum.
**SC STATE CERTIFIED** heavily preferred. We also offer an Apprenticeship to become State Certified for the right candidates.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills is a top priority.
Our pharmacy technicians talk with customers by phone and in person, receive and process orders for prescriptions, process data entry, improve inventory performance, maintain robots, troubleshoot problems and issues, operate cash registers and respond to customer questions or requests. Pharmacy technicians run the cash registers and will be tested on ability to count and handle money. Pharmacy technicians also rotate through our Medical Equipment Department. This position may also include some administrative tasks and duties.
Qualified candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills; must be detail oriented and be able to rotate weekends. Interested candidates also must be enthusiastic, professional, and self-directed.
Candidates that effectively demonstrate the ability to operate with minimal direction and willingness and ability to learn new things will excel in this position and advance more quickly.
MedSync Experience, Immunization Certification and DME experience a bonus.
