Customer Policies and Satisfaction Survey(s)

We want ensure you have the best experience any time you turn to us for your pharmacy, medical equipment or health supply needs. See below for all of our policies regarding shipping & delivery, returns and insurance, as well as our customer satisfaction survey.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Burke's Main Street Pharmacy's shipping & delivery policy is as follows:

  • On-Island Deliveries:
    $1 for pharmacy, $10 for medical equipment
  • Off-Island Deliveries:
    $2 for pharmacy, $15 for medical equipment

Return Policy

  • Returns are permitted in store only within 14 days with original receipt in new condition.
  • Soft goods and items purchased with insurance are not returnable.
  • Women's accessories, mastectomy products and wig accessories are not eligible for return.
  • Prescription drugs are not returnable per Federal Law.
  • Medical Equipment sales once bill to insurance is not returnable.

Insurance Policies


The pharmacy accepts most insurances for payment including Tricare.

Medical equipment

Burke’s Pharmacy is a non-participating provider with Medicare. We elect what items we want to accept Medicare and other insurances for payment on. Our current policy is as follows:

  • The medical equipment department accepts assignment from Medicare Part B only on post-mastectomy prostheses, diabetic shoes and inserts, and Part B drugs (at our discretion).
  • We do not accept third-party insurance on assignment for these products other than Medicare advantage plans.
  • All other supplies and products and insurances are treated as non-assigned.
  • We do file claims for all of our customers to attempt to get them reimbursement from their insurance for the cost or partial cost of their supplies.
